Philanthropy & Community
OneMain is committed to the communities where our customers and team members live and work.
Our Active Corporate Philanthropy Program
OneMain supports programs advancing financial literacy, fighting food insecurity, disaster relief and more.
From tornadoes and floods to hurricanes and wildfires, we stand by our customers through natural disasters by providing assistance.
We regularly implement disaster programs and provide assistance to customers in need.
We also maintain the OneMain Employee Disaster Relief Fund for team members impacted by disasters.
Our community-building initiatives support our mission to improve the financial well being of hardworking Americans.
OneMain supports Feeding America’s EMPOWER initiative, which focuses on long-term economic mobility resources such as financial education, coaching and workforce development for people facing hunger or food insecurity.
LULAC is the oldest and most widely respected Hispanic civil rights organization in the United States. OneMain has partnered with LULAC to help advance the economic condition, educational attainment, political influence, housing, health and civil rights of the Hispanic population in the United States.
We joined the “Time To Vote” initiative, a nonpartisan coalition aimed at increasing voter participation, to give all OneMain employees sufficient time to cast their ballots. Joining “Time to Vote” reflects our values and demonstrates our support for our team members.
The National Urban League’s Financial Empowerment Center initiative helps low and moderate-income families reach financial stability, increase their net worth and become financially secure and upwardly mobile. OneMain offers grant support at the national level and to Urban League affiliate financial capability programs in Charlotte, Chicago and Washington, D.C.
