That’s why OneMain is committed to providing access to responsible financial products and working with our customers to ensure they have the ability to succeed in repayment. We invest in initiatives that enhance access to credit, improve financial capability and help individuals understand the importance of building good credit.

Credit Worthy

Financial wellness should start early. Our Credit Worthy by OneMain Financial curriculum teaches basic personal financial capability skills to students in grades 9 through 12, with an interactive platform designed to translate financial concepts for students as they transition into adulthood.

Credit Worthy by OneMain Financial covers banking basics, income and employment, budgeting, consumer skills, credit and more to help lay a foundation for students’ financial future. And OneMain team members actively volunteer in schools, showing students how to apply course concepts in real life.

New tools for financial wellness

In 2021, we introduced Trim, a financial wellness fintech company that helps users cut monthly expenses without requiring large behavior changes. Trim's slate of expense-saving tools like bill negotiation, subscription monitoring and cancellation, account aggregation, spend tracking, and auto insurance price comparison helps users reduce their spending and supports OneMain's commitment to improving the financial well-being of hardworking Americans.

Our Executive Office of Customer Care acts as a single, simple point of contact for every complaint, allowing customers to resolve issues, receive personal attention and ensure satisfaction.

Calendar

Customers who still have their loan funds can cancel a loan within 7 days. You may cancel any of your optional products at any time for a full refund of the unused products before 60 days or a partial refund after 60 days, no questions asked.
