Heather McHale is Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer at OneMain Financial where she leads the company’s people functions and high-performance culture initiatives. She is responsible for OneMain’s 10,000+ team members and ensuring it remains a great place to work for all employees by focusing on talent and engagement, and team member experience. She leads OneMain’s talent acquisition, leadership development, compensation, benefits and employee relations teams across the United States.

Before joining OneMain in June 2019, she led human resources for Marchon Eyewear, a VSP Global Company, operating in over 20 countries. She has also held senior roles at Merrill Lynch, Pfizer and Kidder Peabody.

Heather holds a Master of Arts degree in organizational psychology from Columbia University, as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Loyola University. Additionally, Heather attended the Harvard Business School Executive Education’s HR-Executive Suite Connection program. She is a member of the CNBC Workforce Executive Council, Society of Human Resources Management and the Nassau/Suffolk Autism Society.
