Your account number can be found in three places:

  • At the top of your loan contract
  • At the top right corner of your monthly statement
  • At the top left corner of your Account Management page after logging in

Online account management allows you to conveniently manage your loan on your computer or mobile device. You can manage your OneMain account by logging in to OneMainFinancial.com. When you log in, you can:

  • View monthly statements
  • Schedule and make payments
  • Enroll in AutoPay
  • Update your contact information

To change your address, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your OneMainFinancial.com account.
  2. Click "My Profile" located in the top right corner of the page.
  3. Click "Edit Contact Information".
  4. Update your address or other contact information on the Edit Contact Information page.
  5. Click "Update."

Please note it may take up to 24 hours for your information to update in our systems.

To enroll in Paperless Statements, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your OneMainFinancial.com account.
  2. Click "Enroll in Paperless Statements" located on the Account Summary page under the Billing and Payment Settings section.

You will receive an email once your Paperless Statements enrollment is complete. Please note it may take up to 24 hours for your enrollment to process in our system.

With Paperless Statements, you will receive an email notification each month to your specified email address when a statement becomes available.

To obtain tax information for your loan, follow these simple steps:

  1. Log in to your OneMainFinancial.com account.
  2. Click "View All Statements" from your Account Summary page.
  3. Your tax information is located below the list of your statements.

If you need to reset your password, go to our "Forgot Your Password?" page.

After entering your username, you will have three options to reset your password:

  1. Get an email We will send instructions to the email address you provided when you created your account.
  2. Answer challenge questions. Answer the questions you chose when you created your account.
  3. Verify your identity. Provide your first and last name, account number*, last four digits of your social security number, and zip code.

To update your contact information, please follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your OneMainFinancial.com account
  2. Click "My Profile" located in the top right corner of your Account Summary page
  3. Click "Edit Contact Information"
  4. Update your information
  5. Click "Update"

You will receive an email once your request is complete. Please note it may take up to 24 hours for your changes to process in our system.

MFA is an additional layer of security designed to protect your online accounts. It requires you to provide two or more pieces of information to verify your identity and access to your account. For example, you may need to enter a username, password and a separate security code, which can be triggered via email or SMS. MFA is a required feature to log in to OneMain online account.

OneMain uses MFA to safeguard against increasingly sophisticated hackers and threat actors. It prevents unauthorized access, control or modifications to your accounts.

When you sign into your account after enabling MFA, you will receive a one-time security code via email or text message and be prompted to enter it. If you choose "Remember Me" during log-in, you won't need to use MFA for a limited period.

Your email address is automatically enrolled as your default MFA when you create your account. Additionally, you have the option to register your mobile number to receive SMS MFA. You can also activate mobile MFA for your OneMain account by visiting "SECURITY SETTINGS" in your Profile & Support dropdown.

Yes, you can update the phone number associated with MFA by visiting "SECURITY SETTINGS" in your Profile & Support dropdown.

No, MFA requires a mobile phone number because we send one-time codes via SMS/text message.

If you lose your phone after enabling MFA, you can attempt to access your account using email-based MFA.
